Join us for discussion and learning around Dr. Steve Kahn's thought provoking parenting book, Insightful Parenting. We'll be looking at our long term goals for raising our children and how this impacts the decisions we make today as parents. Kahn bases his book on the fact that we all hope to raise our children to be teenagers and adults that are emotionally connected to us and intrinsically motivated. This book forces us to look at discipline in a different way and examine our own lives to determine what stands in the way of us being the parents we hope to be.
